What's a Seborrheic Wart?

A Seborrheic wart is most commonly known as Seborrheic keratoses and is a harmless (benign) skin growth that some people develop as they age. Clients often call them "age spots" and find them cosmetically displeasing. As it usually appears as a pale, black, or brown growth on the back, shoulders, chest, or face. The growths usually look waxy, scaly and are slightly raised. Most people will develop at least one in there life, usually from mid 30's and upward in age.

What Causes Seborrheic Warts?

Dermatologists are not certain what causes these skin growths but feel it's linked to aging, sun damaged skin. Skin friction may be a possible factor, as they often appear in skin folds.

Thermocoagulation is a treatment that utilizes the High Frequency Current to discharge pin point heat energy to treat skin imperfections such as Seborrheic Keratoses. This leaves you with a scab the size of the lesion and will heal over in the following weeks.
