What is Fire & Ice Facial?
iS Clinical Fire & Ice is a two step treatment designed to resurface the skin to reduce fine lines and wrinkles and provides deep cleansing of blocked pores. The very powerful intensive resurfacing masque is designed to exfoliate and resurface the skin without excessive post-procedural peeling. Made of sugarcane extracts, vitamin A & B3, and other powerful ingredients. The second part to this incredible facial is the rejuvenation masque that restores, soothes, and provides deep hydration. With key ingredients like hyaluronic acid, aloe vera, green tea, grape seed and rosemary extract.
What to Do Prior to the Treatment?
Stop use of daily skin care products that contain vitamin A, glycolic acid, or any other ingredients that is used for resurfacing the skin three days prior to the treatment. It is mandatory that you tell your aesthetician at the medical spa about any medications that you’re taking. Use of some medications won’t allow you to get this treatment. You should avoid waxing or any other laser treatments on skin for at least 48 hours prior to the treatment.
What to Expect During the Treatment
As the name suggests, Fire and Ice involves a sequence of two hot and cold masques. The first being the intensive resurfacing masque which gives a tingly and slightly stinging feeling upon application. This masque produces a mild peel effect and can give a slight burning sensation but your skin will be completely soothed once the rejuvenating ice masque is applied. When the final masque is removed complementary serums that hydrate, protect and soothe your skin further is applied.
What to Expect After Treatment
Following the treatment you will notice a dramatic improvement in your complexion, with your skin boasting in radiance.
